Lulla
A day-to-day school management app that helps a South Korean private school better take care of its students.

Introduction
Lulla is an integrated school management app designed to help schools better care for students at scale. The platform was developed through a collaboration between Pharos Digital (Vietnam) and Videa Ed Tech (South Korea), and is set to be introduced to the South Korean Ministry of Education. Built for real-world implementation, Lulla includes eight functional modules covering everything from authentication to communication, operations, and transport.

The challenges
Managing school operations often relies on manual, fragmented systems that lack flexibility and consistency. Tasks like publishing announcements, managing transportation, or communicating with families are time-consuming and inefficient. Schools face challenges such as handling user authentication securely, making daily updates accessible, and ensuring smooth communication across different user groups. With no central system in place, even basic operations like inviting new users or viewing daily activities can be unnecessarily complicated.
Our approach
To address these challenges, we designed a modular system tailored to real school needs. User authentication now uses SMS invitations and OTP codes, ensuring privacy and control. A newsfeed module allows schools to post announcements directly to users, while a media album makes it easy to share photos and videos with families. Communication is streamlined through a dedicated directory and chat system, enabling consistent and trackable conversations. Bus routes and commuting status are handled through a dedicated bus management screen. A daily Quickview pulls in key updates at a glance, while the settings module allows schools to manage users and operations with minimal effort.

Outcomes
The system brings structure to previously manual workflows and offers a clear overview of school activity in one platform. Its modular design makes it scalable and adaptable for different school needs, and it sets a strong foundation for smarter school management in South Korea and beyond.
