There was no big plan. We just wanted to do design work that felt useful.
Wauu! Creative started with a simple idea. The name comes from "Vau!", Finnish for wow. To us it means design that's clear and thoughtful enough to make you stop and say wow. That's a high bar, and we work towards it carefully.
We're based in Oulu, Finland, founded in 2025, and work with clients across Finland, Europe, and further afield. Early on we noticed that a lot of brands and websites looked good but were hard to use or unclear about what they did, and rarely reflected the people behind them. That shaped how we work: design that puts users first and turns visitors into customers, especially for small and mid-sized companies that need practical solutions.
We started small, with a name, a simple logo, and our first client before our own website was even ready. We learned by doing and built our brand alongside client work. It wasn't perfect, but it was honest. Since then we've worked with startups and growing businesses in all kinds of industries, building brands and websites that help them grow.
The goal hasn't changed: do work we're proud of, stay curious, and help people with clear, thoughtful design.

Vuong founded Wauu! Creative, a branding and web design studio in Oulu, Finland.
Before starting Wauu, he worked in design, UX, and marketing content production, and also as a freelance photographer and videographer, which is where his eye for visual storytelling comes from.
At Wauu he puts all of that into hands-on Webflow and WordPress development and brand identity work, grounded in strategy and driven by visuals.
John is the lead designer at Wauu! Creative. His background is in UI/UX design, which he's worked in professionally for 7 years, and he has a real love for visual craft across branding, print, and illustration.
Alongside his professional work, he's kept growing as a graphic designer through his own projects, always sharpening his skills and picking up new tools.
At Wauu he turns this into careful, precise design built around real value for the client. His view is simple: great design should do something. It should work for the business and connect with the people it's meant for.
Harri is one of Finland's most respected go-to-market strategists and currently Head of GTM at Strongest Group. He knows modern B2B outbound, sales automation, and the systems behind growth that scales.
He's a recognised partner of the tools shaping modern GTM, including Clay, Salesforge, Instantly, and Heyreach, and runs hands-on workshops and events in Helsinki for founders and growth teams who want outbound that converts.
At Wauu, Harri sits on the board as a strategic advisor. He shapes how we find and approach the right clients, building the systems that turn good creative work into a steady pipeline.
